Corporate Scenario Of Micro Small Medium Enterprises

World-wide, Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have been accepted as the engine of economic growth and for promoting equitable development. Now, with the Narendra Modi – led NDA government at the center, expectations are naturally running high. It is the time to fulfill the same.

MSME sector occupies an important position in the country’s industrial economy and contribute to industrial production, exports, creation of employment opportunities etc. This is a sector that has emerged as a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy over last few decades. It play crucial role in providing large employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost than large industries and at the same time also help in industrialization of rural and backward areas. This result in reducing regional imbalances assuring more equitable distribution of national income and wealth thereby contributing enormously to the socio -economic development of the country.

MSME Development Institute, Mumbai provides various types of extension services and assistance for setting up of units, promoting and developing products and services by the MSME sectors like : Technical Consultancy Services, Entrepreneurship Development Programme, Management Development Programme, Technology Resource Centre, Vendor Development Programmes, Marketing Assistance and Services, Common Facility Service, Cluster Development Programme, CAD/CAM Centre, Quality Incentive Scheme, and many other etc.

IDEMI was established in September 1969 with join efforts of UNDO/UNDP, Vienna and Ministry of Industry, Govt. Of India. It is a Society under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for service-to-industry organization for Skill Development Training Programme. IDEMI is conducting Sponsored Training Programme, Capacity Building Training Programme, Tailor Made Training Programmes,etc. It also provides certificate course in Tool Design & Tool Room Practices, IT courses, Industrial Automation, Animation Courses, etc. MSME-DI recently announced the starting of specialised journalism and many other in it.

In continuation of its effort towards promoting responsible behaviour among MSMEs, the Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC) has taken the initiative of developing a methodology on how business responsibility issues in MSME can be tackled through cluster development approach.There are too many expectations and India is waiting for upcoming of new MSMEs.
